High costs of insurance are always a concern for apartment owners, but in a recent article in Apartment Finance Today Morgan McMillan makes the case that insurance carriers will soon need to compete for your business and we should be seeing lower premiums around the corner. Sounds good, doesn't it?

McMillan reports that a hurricane season without incident after most carriers raised their premiums to all time highs has resulted in record profits. He offers several tips to ensure that multifamily owners can make sure they are getting the best deal when they renew or seek a new policy:
