Videoconferencing is increasingly being used by commercial agents to build better business relationships and to improve the services they offer to clients. Leading technologies include Adobe Acrobat Connect, Microsoft Live Meeting and WebEx.
Costs average around 35 cents per minute and can be as little as $39 per month for unlimited use. While less reliable and not as flexible for groups, there are other free options available through Skype, Yahoo and AOL.
I have tested the Logitech Ultra camera and for the $127 outlay can attest to its ability to auto focus, make lighting adjustments automatically and that it does well with movement. Light and small, it’s easy to take on the road! With the time and money costs of travel, virtual site tours are here to stay.
